The Yalla is FIP approved

Our first ball passed the federation lab test on 3 December 2025. Here is what that test asks of a ball.

On 3 December 2025 the International Padel Federation added the AIFA Yalla Ball to its list of approved balls, next to the makers players already know. The approval runs to 3 December 2027.

What the FIP checks

A box of 24 tubes goes to an accredited lab (Le Mans, Rome or Valencia). The lab picks 24 balls at random, keeps them in a controlled room for at least 24 hours, then measures each one: mass 56 to 59.4 g, diameter 6.35 to 6.77 cm, and a rebound of 135 to 145 cm when dropped from 2.54 m onto a hard floor. It also squeezes them to check forward and return deformation, and runs a durability machine that simulates nine matches.

Why it matters on your court

Only approved balls may be used in FIP tournaments, Premier Padel and the CUPRA FIP Tour. If it is good enough for those draws, it is good enough for your Thursday four.
